About Us.
We are a vibrant community of Niger Delta Diaspora Saskatoon, a gathering of Nigerians from the enchanting South-South region, now proudly calling Saskatoon, Canada, our home away from home. The Association aims to bring together and foster understanding amongst the Niger Delta people in the diverse communities of Nigeria in and around Saskatoon and to promote entrepreneurial, professional, and personal development activities, mutual support, and joint aid among our members.

- To exhibit and promote those aspects of the Niger Delta culture that would contribute positively to the Canadian cultural mosaic
- To provide a positive environment where our members can assemble from time to time for social, economic and cultural dialogue
- To provide a cultural connection and identity for all children of Niger Delta heritage and other children that may like to explore the Niger Delta ways of life
- To create a network for rendering reasonable and acceptable assistance to members in need
- To Cherish, Uphold and project the honor and dignity of Niger Delta Culture, languages and traditions in Africa and diaspora
Our Story
Our journey began with the dreams and aspirations of individuals who, like countless others, ventured far from their roots to build new lives in a foreign land. With our hearts deeply rooted in our rich cultural tapestry as Niger Deltans, we found ourselves drawn together by our common bond – a longing to connect, share, and preserve our cultural heritage while establishing our presence positively in Saskatoon through community engagement as a people, to work, live and to organize and support social and other related educational events that are of benefits to members as well as other Nigerian Immigrants in Canada.
Aims and Objectives
The Niger Delta Saskatoon Forum is dedicated to fostering strong connections among Nigerian Canadians, from the Niger Delta region who now reside in Saskatoon. Through our community, we create a supportive network that stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity through our Aims and Objectives.
The Association aims to bring together and foster understanding amongst the Niger Delta people in the diverse communities of Nigeria in and around Saskatoon, and African Diaspora in Canada at large.
To promote entrepreneurial, professional, and personal development activities, mutual support, and joint aid among our members.

Our Strategic Pillars are designed to provide a formidable structure of support for members and non-members of our community, to benefit in key areas.
Information Hub
We serve as a hub for information sharing by helping to spread verified information to individuals within and outside of our community.
Service Provider
We serve as a contact point for new comers and migrants into city. By leveraging the skills and expertise of the existing membership & board, we are able to service the needs and desires of other members.
Unified Community
We encourage and foster unity by acknowledging, inviting and engaging smaller groups in discussions, and regular monthly engagement sessions with the board and executive.
